Beka Jakeli
The collection was inspired by the attire of Beka Jaqeli (XIII-XIV centuries) - the ruling prince of Samtskhe and Mandaturtukhutsesi of the Georgian kingdom. Depicted on the mural of Sapara Monastery, Jaqeli wears a richly decorated red dress, embellished with pearls and a golden-thread embroidery of a cherub, a celestial winged creature. Red and blue cherubim are also present on a silk shirt, which became a great source of inspiration. By combining with natural stones (coral, turquoise), I imitated the sophisticated style of the costume into jewelry pieces
